I read this book some 4 years back. It was already a popular book and was a best seller. The most attractive thing that drives ones attention to turn back and take a look at it - is its simple and powerful fable - "Winners dont do different things. They do it differently".
As I began reading, I started loving it for one reason, the fables. They were inspiring and interesting - more importantly they didn’t drag; they were short but nevertheless carried important messages. It attracted me and made a impact in me because of its simplicity that pierced into the heart.
I loved the fables and anecdotes this book had and its interpretation part in which Shiv Khera had put in small day to day situations that could easily reach even the most common man. I felt that this book was more reachable in India because of its simplicity and the picture that brought into our eyes was more a regular event/situation that happened around us.
The success of the book is that the many number of times you read, the more you learn. It occurred when I started reading this book from the scratch, all over again, 5 years later. This time around, I read the book to completion - and tell you what, I liked it better - I mean, I liked the book in totality this time; Because, not only did I now understand the excellent lessons the fables and anecdotes contained, but as well the context and/or situations in which Shiv Khera, the author, has applied them. I could find the assortment of fables and anecdotes more pertinent and the book way too less aimless now. I could see the essence more clearly now and understand with more clarity what Shiv Khera is trying to say. One of the best books i could say for any beginner who trives to win and donno where to start.
