Ingredients:
Sweet Corn - 1
Potato - 3 (medium sized )
green chillies - 4
Onion - 1
coriander leaves - a few
maida - 1/2 cup
salt
oil - to fry
Method :
Cook sweet corn and potato in a cooker. Cut onion and coriander leaves into small pieces. Peel off potato and mash them. Remove the corn from the cob using a blunt knife or back side of a sharp knife. Grind the corn and green chillies in a mixer coarsely. (Do not grind them to a fine paste. texture of final product will not be good).
Now mix the corn mix, mashed potatoes, onion, coriander leaves and little salt to taste. Make them in a shape as desirable. oval or round or flat. Make a batter of maida, salt (as much as required for the qty of maida used) and little water. Should be in a consistency as of bajji batter.
Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the corn mix in the batter and deep fry them in hot oil. Serve hot with tomato sauce. These fritters are an easy snack for a cold evening..
